Photo sessions with CT McGhee Photography are tailored to suit your needs, as such, days and session times are reserved to ensure availability. A minimum retainer of $100 is required to lock in the date and time of your session.
Headshot Photography CT McGhee Photography is proud to serve your headshot or profile photography needs. Servicing Business Headshots, Medical Students, Law Practitioners/Arbitrators, Actors, Military, and any other type of Headshot Photography requirement.
$150 – Individual headshot sessions include 2 outfit changes and usually last 1 hour. More outfits and more time can be purchased if necessary. Minor image proofing is done in person throughout the session with final proofing done via a secure online gallery. Up to 5 images are processed, retouched, and delivered with the option for additions. Three day turnaround time.
Full or Half Day rates would apply based upon a number of employees/participants. CT McGhee plus 1 or more assistants will be present on site to ensure the day goes smoothly and that you are getting the best quality images in a timely manner. Minor image proofing is done in person throughout the session with thorough proofing done via a secure online gallery.
Hair and Makeup available upon request.
Portfolio Building Portfolio building sessions are available for anyone looking to get a start in modeling, acting, or simply to diversify a portfolio. Each portfolio building session will be custom designed to fit the subject’s interests. Portfolio building sessions start at $500 and often include: –Polaroids to showcase natural talent and beauty. These are taken before the Makeup Artist and Stylist start their work. –Headshots of various styles and looks maximum diversity. –Natural light shoot in the studio for a beautiful soft glamour look. –Natural light shoot outdoors to provide a more fashion or lifestyle look. –Video Spotlight is available for an additional $100 and will be comprised of video clips throughout the session edited together into chic and stylish digital video.
Standard Portraits start at $250 and vary based on package options. This includes sessions like Families, Seniors, and Individual Portraits. Each package comes with a 11" x 14" print and a digital image of the print. Additional prints and digital files may be purchased separately. Hair and Makeup is available upon request.
Creative Portraits start at $350 and will vary based on the details of the session. This includes sessions like Cosplay, Sports/Athlete, and Team portraits. Each package comes with more in-depth lighting and retouching to provide a more editorial/commercial look. Each session comes with one 16”x 20” print; additional prints may be purchased for an additional cost.
Hair and Makeup is available upon request.
Commercial Photography For commercial shoots, a creative fee is assessed which includes Half or full day rates and usage. Usage if based on how the images are to be used and where they will be displayed and will vary by each individual project.
Half Day Full day A Half Day Rate of $500 is assessed for shoots that are less than 4.5 hours. This time does not include local travel time but does include setup and cleanup time.
A Full Day Rate: $1,000 is assessed for shoots that are more than 4.5 hours and up to 9 hours. (Additional time may be negotiated if a project is near completion and the allotted time has elapsed.) This time does not include local travel time but does include setup and cleanup time.

Event Photography CT McGhee Photography has taken part in many different charities, private events, and city-wide events in and around the greater Houston area. Event coverage starts at $500 for 4 hours with the option for longer. Images can be provided via digital file transfer or a disc by mail carrier.

Additional Costs These are some of the billable items associated with various shoots and are based upon the type of shoot and will not appear on all sessions.
Retouching: All images are processed to ensure the subject will be seen in the best manner. Select image retouching is included with each package and varies thereupon. Additional retouching is available at $50 and an estimate of retouching cost will be given before starting.
Delivery: Images are delivered via online digital transfer with a private online gallery for purchases of digital prints/proofs, and through the traditional mail for all prints and discs ordered. Processing and delivery charges ares $35 and will vary with digital delivery. I personally deliver prints larger than 16”x 20” to your front door.
Hair & Makeup: You are more than welcome to arrange your own hair and makeup for our session, but I have specific people that I prefer to work with as we have developed working relationships and methods to ensure the best outcome. Prices for Hair and makeup will typically run $75+ for makeup and $200+ for both hair and makeup. These costs vary on the look desired.
Location: Many locations will allow us to have our session with no issue, but some locations require permits and deposits. These costs will be discussed before the shoot date.
Props/Supplies: This covers all kinds of items from exotic animal rentals to wardrobe rentals and will vary by project.
Specialty Equipment: Although I have a fully equipped studio, on occasion there will be an item that is not kept in-house and will be needed for the session.
Rush Service: Typically, images are processed within two weeks to ensure proper care is given to processing to allow for the best possible final image. Rush Service is available at $100 to have the images delivered more quickly to fit tight timelines.
Payment Options I accept all major CREDIT CARDS, and of course CASH. I do not accept CHECKS.
Rescheduling I understand that sometimes life happens. If you must reschedule your session for whatever reason that is perfectly fine if it is addressed at least 7 days before the scheduled session. If an emergency or unforeseen incident occurs you will be able to reschedule your session for free 1 time as long as I am given notice at least 1 hour before your session time. If not addressed in the required time, the client will forfeit the session deposit.
Meetings/consultations are by appointment only. When considering me for your assignment, please know that for weekends I am typically booked 2-4 weeks in advance and 1-2 weeks in advance for weekdays.
This does not mean I do not occasionally have openings or cancellations so please feel free to call me to inquire on a specific date.
In Town If the location(s) for the booked photoshoot are within the Houston Proper Area or within 50 Miles of the Studio there is no associated cost to travel on site. (total one-way mileage of multiple shoot sites is greater than the maximum mileage from the Studio. In this case, $2.00/Mile will be added to invoice).
In Texas We love to travel, especially when it is for an exciting photoshoot. A general fee of $2.00/Mile outside of the 50 miles from the Studio will be assessed. This cost will vary based on the destination of the shoot and may be replaced by a onetime flat rate.
Out of State/Country Because we love to travel, rates for out of state/country sessions are negotiated individually to incorporate the cost of travel/housing and a stress-free photography session for you. Passports are current!
If the shoot spans additional days or locations, hotel accommodations and meals must be provided.
