C.T. McGhee

Thanks for taking the time to see who I am and what makes me tick!

I was fortunate to grow up in a family that valued the importance of capturing life's precious events with cameras. My father was a career Army officer; in the first 21 years of my life we moved eight times around the United States and Germany. Dad always had a camera, capturing images of family, friends, tourist locations, and landscapes. He was an amazing man who documented his travels to all seven continents throughout his lifetime.

I have always had a camera with me while growing up.  My photographic education continued in high school where I learned to develop film in a darkroom.  I followed in my father's footsteps and served in the Army for over twenty years and documented my travels and key events in my life on film.

People laugh at me because I always have my camera gear with me.  My style is journalistic in that I am waiting for "that look" either in someone's eyes, on the street, or in nature. The best photography is natural and not posed.

My goal as an artist is to develop a relationship with you so that you let me into your world so that I can capture that image "on film."

I photograph portraits, fashion, glamour, sports, and nature.

Ultimately we want to print our collaboration and post in on your walls; small print sizes such as 5x7's or 8x10's are best reserved as items for your desk or nightstand.

I belong to several Professional Photography Associations to remain current in the photographic arts and to continue my professional education:
